What does the shortest head spa cost?
$50, for 30 minutes. The TCM Head Aromatherapy is scalp oil and massage on dry hair, so nothing is washed and nothing is dried — which is why it fits inside a lunch break, and why it costs less than half of what the 90 minute treatments do.
What the $50 leaves out
The shampoo and the blow-dry. Every head spa from 45 minutes up includes a double cleanse at the basin and a blow-dry at the mirrors afterwards, and that is what separates $50 from $78. Book the short one when you have somewhere to be and want to keep the hair you styled this morning.
What the $78 Classic covers
All six stages — the scalp analysis on the monitor, two shampoos, the scalp and shoulder massage, the warm-water rinse, a nourishing scalp treatment and the blow-dry. It is the shortest treatment on the menu that does all six. The 60 minute Signature at $90 adds scalp exfoliation and a longer massage, and the whole head spa menu sits behind it.

Which treatment gets booked the most?
The Aura Scalp Treatment with a mini facial, $120 for 75 minutes. It is the only head spa on the menu that also treats the face, and the most booked service we run. Three of the seven packages pair a facial with a head spa as well, but those run 90 minutes and start at $148.
It sits $30 above the 60 minute Signature and $18 below the $138 Deep Hydrating Facial. The facial half is the mini version, which the menu says plainly, so what people are buying is scalp and face inside one 75 minute booking.
If the face is the reason you are booking
Go straight to the facial menu. Four treatments between $80 and $138: the two 30 minute ones are $80 each, and both 60 minute facials — deep hydrating and the signature customized — are $138. The facial page sets out what each one involves, and the 30 minute gua sha facial is one half of three of the packages below.

What separates the two $150 treatments?
The hair, against the scalp. Both run 90 minutes and both cost $150. The Luxury Milbon Restorative Head Spa spends its extra half hour on the hair itself, with hot steam and the Milbon treatment, for hair that has been processed hard. The Purifying Scalp Revitalize Treatment spends it on a deeper cleanse and an essence infusion.
Bleached, highlighted or flat-ironed most days, and the Milbon is the one built for that. A scalp that turns greasy by the second day, and the Purifying goes after the buildup instead. Both sit $60 above the 60 minute Signature, which is the jump most people are weighing.
What does the extra $60 buy?
Product and time on the scalp. Each 90 minute treatment carries a named product step the shorter formats do not have — the Milbon treatment on one, an essence infusion on the other — and the added half hour goes into the scalp rather than into more massage. If the massage is the reason you are booking, the $90 Signature gives you more of it per dollar.
Booking for a scalp that is sore or flaking?
See a dermatologist first, then book. Hair coming out in patches, a scalp that is sore or bleeding, or flaking that over-the-counter treatment has not settled is a doctor's question. A head spa is a beauty treatment and does not diagnose, treat or cure anything; once you have been seen, the two go together well.

Do the packages beat booking the halves separately?
On the combinations whose two halves exist on the menu at the same lengths, yes — by $10 to $42. A package also puts both treatments inside one 60 or 90 minute appointment, which means one arrival, one blow-dry and one slot to find in the week.
| Package · 90 minutes | Package price | The same treatments booked apart |
|---|---|---|
| Neck & Shoulder Massage + Head Spa | $140 | $150 — $60 massage, $90 head spa |
| Gua Sha Facial & Head Spa | $160 | $170 — $80 facial, $90 head spa |
| Midweek Healing Package | $148 | $190 — $60 massage, $80 facial, $50 head spa |
Those three have exact equivalents on the single-service menu at the same lengths. Every package lands at 60 or 90 minutes: the 90 minute ones run $140 to $168, and the two 60 minute Male packages are $120 each. Which of the seven suits you is the question the packages page answers.
Can a gift card cover a package?
Yes. Gift cards are ordered through Square, the same system the bookings run on, and a card can go toward any line on the menu, packages included. Whoever receives it picks the treatment and the length. The gift cards page has the link.

What does a head spa cost elsewhere in Issaquah?
There is one other basin head spa inside the city limits. Dulce Lash & Skin Lounge, at 45 Front St S, listed its 60 minute Signature Scalp Ritual at $140 when both menus were read on 19 September 2026; our 60 minute Signature Head Spa is $90.
Prices move, so treat that reading as dated. Past those two there is no basin in town — the bodywork studios sit on NW Gilman Blvd on the far side of I-90, and Massage Envy, Elements Massage, Eastern Massage Spa and O Spa are massage rooms. What else to weigh up is on the page about choosing a head spa here.
Is the scalp analysis charged separately?
No. It opens every head spa, there is no line for it anywhere on the menu, and it is inside the price of the treatment you book. The blow-dry that finishes every head spa from 45 minutes up works the same way — part of the treatment, not an extra.
Finding us
Look for the sign, not a shopfront
Open every day, 9 AM to 8 PM — a lunch hour, an evening after work, or a weekend morning all fit.
- Come off I-90 at Exit 18 and follow E Sunset Way east. We are about a third of a mile past Front Street, on a block of converted houses.
- Watch the curb for a dark monument sign reading House of Layo and Aura Beauty. We share the site with the salon, so that sign is the landmark.
- Come a few minutes early on a first visit — there is tea by the fireplace, and your head spa starts with a look at your scalp on the monitor.
